Aarong is seeking Assistant General Manager – HR

Job Requirements: Aarong (the leading social enterprises of BRAC) is recently inviting applications for Assistant General Manager – HR post.

  • Job applicants must be a BBA or MBA degree holder (major in HRM) / Masters in related subject
  • Preferable Post Graduate diploma in HRM with CGPA above 2 or 1st division/class and 2nd division/class
  • Minimum 8-10 years working experience in multinational or local company with at least 5 years in managerial post
  • Have sound knowledge on Strategic Human Resource Management, Bangladesh Labor Law, Performance Management System and Change Management
  • Able to recognize the responsibility and value of working in a team, able to actively develop and support team members, able to quickly identify problem and solution
  • Must have excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Able to uphold the highest moral standards and must possesses leadership ability

Job Responsibility: 

  • Responsible for leading the HR team as well as oversee the company’s HR functions
  • Involve in developing and implementing HR strategies and initiatives aligned with the overall business strategy
  • Responsible for assisting senior management to implement the change management initiatives in Aarong and Ayesha Abed Foundation
  • Responsible for reviewing organization chart and providing HR guidance to the business/department heads for restructuring and workforce planning
  • and ensuring appraisals are completed on regular basis and meet company standards
  • Responsible for assisting to develop compensation and benefit strategy to maintain pay plan and benefit program
  • Responsible for assisting and coordinating the progress of recruitment and selection process as per AMP of the business
  • Responsible for administering performance management program, providing regular training for managers
  • Responsible for coordinating with the concern team to ensure TNA and Training program to meet short and long term objective of the business
  • Responsible for assisting to develop and implementation of HR policies and procedures
  • Responsible for dealing with grievance related issues in a legally compliant way
  • Responsible for coordinating between all department heads regarding people management function and providing necessary feedback and supporting to maintain a satisfactory level of performance
